Talked to my dad:)

 These are the little guys Brandon saw on the way back to work the other day. I told him he should have snatched one and he proceeded to tell me the mama would have *ate him*:) Too cute...wish I could have seem'em!!

I finally called my dad last Tuesday and it was a wonderful conversation...one many years in the makin':) I am tryin' to figure out how to meet up with him. I'd like to meet him half way, I think. I do know I can't have anything that is too overwhelmin' or I would totally shut down. I'm weirod that way. If things get to be too much for me to deal with, I completely shut down and *go to a place*. Not the best way but it's how I roll. So I would really like to keep it low key to begin with and go from there. I really can't wait to meet/see him...I haven't a clue what he even looks like., just a picture from 1976 of him in front of a truck, barefoot and in bellbottoms and no shirt...lol:)

Not sure if I knew when I posted last time but I also have a younger sister and younger brother (way younger). I do feel bad though because this has to be a shock to her. We were textin' back and forth on facebook but I haven't heard from her in a few days...I feel bad and don't know how I could help her...

Yesterday was a nice day with the horses. Domino stills needs to heal up his foot. We figure it's a pretty good rope burn from bein' tied up before we got him. His sunburn on his lips and around his mouth is lookin' a lot better as well. Poor guy. But I swear I see a little perkier, more happy look from him, in his eyes:) He is a special boy and I enjoy how our horses come to us...well, all of our animals really.

We had planned on goin' hog huntin' today at some family property but it looks like we won't be able to go that far, so we may go to another piece of property in the family and scout things out. Possibly even put some traps up. I really want a couple hogs!!! And I can't wait for deer season:)

I should get goin'. I tried to set my phone up so I could post pics and posts from my phone but it seems it wants to get a little wonky with me. I'll see if Montanna can get it figured out...gotta love the techy kids:)

When the house was moved in, it was really muddy even after a week or more of no rain...we were ready to be moved in:O) Anyhoo, the truck got stuck so we had to hire a 'dozer to come in and place the house. He had to remove some more trees and he almost got stuck in the HUGE mud-lollies we have on the property...we stuck LOGS in the hole that was made from the truck...see tires stuck above:O)

And this is the fawn we raised into a handsome young buck...what a cutie!! He lived on goats milk...lol...
