Sorry but that is why I don't really have any girlfriends...they can be so catty and such snatches. And now I'm bein' blackballed or something on one of my favorite sites...because I stayed...are you kiddin' me?
It's not anyone else's choice and I surely wouldn't tell anyone what to do and then get snotty when they didn't do it. So, to all the petty ladies at the nation...o-well and get over it!!
This is how Saturday went...
Yesterday was one for the books!! We were out for a family fun day in the woods, tryin to find Medicine Springs. We'd been out before lookin' for it and only found wild horses
So, we had the map and by golly we were gonna find it!! We even had a nice picnic and cameras ready. Finally find our road (only 20 miles outta the way when the whole trip was 20 miles ) and we were 2 miles away and when Brandon turned the corner, it felt like the 'burb was skiin' on water. He stops and we get out and see...
...2 frickin' flat tires gettin' flatter by the minute Now we have traveled many a back roads and NEVER even had a flat
So Brandon drives it back down a mile and we pull into a driveway...thank God we weren't far from houses as the cell service was spotty at best (i.e. leg over your head, someone on top of you lookin' like they are doin' the YMCA song).
No one is home, the only one's around are a dog and three horses starrin' at us.
It ended up that when Brandon jacked the truck up with the ridiculously small stock jack, the truck fell off and bent the jack So we sat there for a little while until we saw some folks drivin' past and low and behold, it was the brother of the owner of the house we were at. He had a second spare for us
Brandon got both tires changed and we booked it for home. I was so bummed.
What are the chances of that happenin'? Damned city truck...give me my huge 4-door 4x4 beast back
